My recipe for whites that glisten is: Turn on washer with HOT water. As it is filling, add bluing and chlorine bleach. If you can get detergent with phosphates such as Mexican detergent, or purchase sodium tri poly phosphate from the chemistry store online. Then your whites will glisten. Ross
