The other Kitchenaid was sold... What about this one?

It gets newer with each post! Looks like a KD23. The upper rack, white detergent and rinse aid dispensers bring the machine into the 90's.

    Considering a 1980's GE set

GE LLC dryers "dryers are good but when the washer went TRUE large capacity, the dryer stayed standard capacity, not exactly a perfect match" During the mid-eighties, GE introduced a replacement dryer for the behemoth machine that was made in Chicago and discontinued. It was called the...

    KitchenAid tall tub dishwasher issue

Scrape but don't rinse the user instructions advise to remove excess food and hard items(toothpicks etc.) from the dishes. Rinsing is unnecessary; except tomato sauces to avoid staining of plastics utensils and dishwasher parts. It is also recommended to remove labels from any jars before...

    Almost 'New' Kitchen Aid KUDJ230YC

Brent the different buttons were on the Superba. I noticed after I re-read the earlier message, that detail was left out. Ooops! Steve, yes the rinsed only light was nice, however, the reason for the substituting the 'please-wait' light was to cut down on unnecessary service calls. Even today...

    Almost 'New' Kitchen Aid KUDJ230YC

Brent there were & are KUDL & KUDP but no connection to me. LOL! Another memorable thing we were able to incorporate into the rapid advance timer model KUDS23 was the "please wait" indicator on the console. This was illuminated while the timer fully reset itself during a cancel/drain. This...

    Almost 'New' Kitchen Aid KUDJ230YC

A bit of KitchenAid trivia for this model. The letter "J" stood for a coworker named Jessica. Together, we created the Use & Care guides for the 23 series. A blast from the past! L.P.

What can you tell me about a 1999 Whirlpool Gold?

Actually this model dishwasher was energy star compliant in its day. Normal with 'sensed' heavy soil used about 7 gallons of water. Not too bad, even by today's requirements. Each full fill was 2 gallons or so. There is a small plastic clip that missing from the right front of the lower rack...

Homart Electric Sink Dishwasher Full Operation

Mike this dishwasher-sink was most likely made by 'American' kitchens from Connorsville IN. This is the same company that later became Design & Manufacturing (D&M). Does the machine have a model-serial tag? The 587 model prefix will confirm. L.P.
