    Presenting, the Philco Range!

Well, I have had this now for a week. It was not really as advertised, but still unusual enough to go ahead and pick it up for now. The stove was advertised as in great shape and everything worked. When I got there, it was in the basement, and not able to be tested. He told me the clock worked...

I used ez off bam grease remover on the left buttons after the failure on the...

a year or so ago that I would go out in 40+mph winds and rain, to pick thru a pile of stoves, washers, dryers etc piled behind Sears, but there I was last night... LOL Lots of newer stuff, smooth top ranges, white faced Kenmores, etc. Did score one filter flo lint strainer from a smashed BOL...

New Whirlpool add in Sundays Parade Mag.

Did you find it caught your eye to see that nice electronic Whirlpool washer (recent POD model), the Kitchen Aid dishwasher in Avacado, etc. all kicked to the curb?? Of course wish I knew where they were to rescue them! I guess I need to ride by Sears and see what they have dumped out back!

    Today's POD 9-6-05

My favorite dryer to date, I had that exact model about 12 years ago, had to leave it when I sold the house. (would not have left it if I knew then what I know now..) I had replaced all the drum felts, belt, bearings, etc., as regular maintenance but the motor was original. It did the best job...

GE range model number ID help

I found the model number of 1J362 and a serial number I think of VK21672A on this GE range I picked up last week. Any ideas of the model year? I started to clean it out over the weekend, one of the tabs on the oven element is almost burned thru where it connects to the oven wall, guess I will...
