Heads up! PINK GE range in Arlington, VA

Thanks for the update Looks like it would not be too good for parts even, thanks for posting all the pictures. I know I ruined two sets of buttons on mine trying to degunk them, now they won't work at all, so no reason to try with those. Scott

    Kitchen Aid circa about 1983

I have the black one too That is why I posted it, great machine, I need to replace the valve on mine that keeps it from making gurgling noise from the air gap on the counter, but even with that it works perfectly every time. I like that it heats its own water allowing the water heater to be...

Heads up! PINK GE range in Arlington, VA

Bob, How does it look/and/or smell as you put it? LOL Can't wait for the update. I also saw Veg's link to a stovetop by GE with push button fixed heat controls, if it had been the Hotpoint one I have been looking for I would have been over and picked it up! I hope you can score that pank range...

Off topic. I just bought the last great American made luxury land yacht

Ahh, a friend of mine used to have one of those (well her folks did) and they let me drive it a few times.. white on white 4 door. They had a white Persion cat that would ONLY ride in that car!! Guess she felt she blended well with the interior. Great car, I know they put over 200,000 miles...

ques for old car buffs, starting to look

Greg, If you look for a non-muscle car such as a larger american car, you can find really nice ones for 15K. I have seen some nice cars such as a 65 Pontiac Catalina for that price, that have been totally restored and are better than they were new, with nice 389 engines and room for 5. Spring...

Kemores in Coffee WE NEED A HOME ASAP !!!!.

Best dryer I ever had I had that dryer, a 68 model, and it worked great. I had to put new belt and drum pads on it, and that was it. I wish I had taken it when I moved, it worked so much better than the 92 model that I bought new to replace it. Too bad it is all the way across the country or I...

Interesting trivia from a car calendar

I just noticed on the back of a free car calendar I received in the mail, titled G.M. Classics, a note titled, "Did you know" This may have been posted before, but it was new to me. GM bought Frigidaire in 1918 out of concerns that the government would decree automobiles "inessential" to the...

    Nice Kitchen Aid Portable Dishwasher

My Regency I don't know what year mine is, but I have learned it can't have anything other than plates or flat objects in the bottom rack on mine, as it does not have the top rack spray arm. Mine works o.k. if loaded properly, except the main wash detergent door does not open, I have to...

    out with the new

Thanks Tom As she has been making that noise for at least two years, I will just go ahead and get that part first and replace it. I am happy to hear it is nothing major, as I love that machine as far as quiet and cleaning ability. Scott

    out with the new

Question for you all I have the exact machine Gary shows there, mod # KUDS220T1 and it started gurgling thru the kitchen drains when it is washing, still works perfectly, but that sound drives me out of the house. Any ideas where to look to fix it? Scott
