    Unusual Philco range in VA

And what's a couple inches between friends.. I guess it is time to get out the measuring tape... I hope it is a standard one that won't require kitchen surgery to install. That's how the 54 GE ended up starting a garage kitchen in the first place.

Westinghouse Laundromat in Staten Island, NY

Is that thing as large as it appears? I saw that water running down the front too, guess a few seals are shot.. or is that the overflow rinse... :-) Any news?

    Unusual Philco range in VA

For now, it will have to join the GE In the garage kitchen. I don't even have a clue what size that thing is, width wise, I just saw that dash and unusual design and had to save it. Since the GE is only working on two burners, it will be moved out to storage and this one can take it's place. I...

    Radarange RR-Say What?

I spotted that different panel at the bottom right off. It looks to be in great condition. When you say it needs new caps, is that what causes the display to have a mind of it's own at times? I think that is what I understood from your EXCELLENT website. Mine will at random time just display a...

    Unusual Philco range in VA

Thanks I had never seen anything like it, and it has lighted controls, what's not to love about that! Tom, that "extra" sounds interesting, can't wait to see if this one has that, he says it still has the temp probe thing. Roast test coming up!

POD...and thermostat questions on 40" Frigidare

Just trying to help diagnosis here, I guess first thing, sounds like they are heating up some, and if so, does changing the temp setting change how much they heat, ie setting on 300 gets to 200, 350 gets to 250, or no matter what temp setting is they only heat to a certain degree? Has the...

    Tenny-Tiny Wash-in

I vote for the blue and white But you know, if the real men from Scotland can wear a Kilt in the cold, and we know they don't wear anything under them, you all could have braved the cold with all those layers! Afraid of a little shrinkage?? Or was that strictly for the Arizona climate when you...

Thanks Robert Great videos as well as pictures in the other threads on the repairs to this machine. Once again I thank you for taking the time to teach us all new things. I love that timer, sort of like the old early 60's Buick and mid 60's T-bird speedometers too. Scott
