This picture is from a decorating book I found at a Palm Springs thrift shop, last weekend. The book is, "Ladies' Home Journal Book of Home Decoration," 1959. Can anyone identify the washer and dryer for me?

This sweet girl needs a loving home! She belonged to my aunt, who died last year. We inherited her when we bought my aunt's house. My partner, unfortunately is allergic to cats. Her name is Oreo....she came with that name, but probably wouldn't care if you changed it. Oreo is such a sweetheart...

This ad is from a 1969 "Better Homes & Gardens" magazine. Apparently, the woman replaced her 1957 Frigidaire with a 1969 Frigidaire, which I'm sure was nice. BUT she banished the Control Tower machine to the barn?! Just terrible....

What year model is this set? I had the dryer in harvest gold while in college. My dad reminded me (again) on the phone, recently, that the dryer is sitting in their storage building in Odessa, TX. Anyone interested??? David
