And here we have Mildred. Her washing machine wasn't working right, and so the repairman comes to see what the problem is. The repairman shows that silly Mildred absent mindedly put her box of washing powders inside her washing machine when she was putting away her groceries. Mildred is so...

    1-18 lint filters

Bed of Nails filter Oh my gosh! My mom had a harvest gold Frigidaire washer that we got in around 1972. We just hated that dumb filter!! The washer was fantastic, but that filter was a nightmare. The only time it was ever clean was before the very first load of laundry.

    A GE Like None Other

Witchcraft!!! I am a MAJOR "Bewitched" fan, and I just loved your showing us your witchcraft!! How funny that was! However, Endora would've been offended that you used witchcraft in order to get you started in such tedious and hum-drum mortel tasks! (ha)

Church Picnic Season Here In Wisconsin...

Church Picnics?? I grew up in the Church of Christ in west TX. We used to have potlucks all the time, and the food was always amazing! One of the popular Church of Christ things to do was a potluck dinner and singing. Since the C of C sings only A Capella, it's easy to gather and sit down and...

    Would Bob Approve?

Trivia Hey, gansky1, I grew up with those plastic tumblers in the top rack! My mom got them on that kitchen aisle at the grocery store, where we got most of our dishes and kitchen things. But we only had the green, yellow and orange-ish ones.

    Irreconcilable Differences

Hey, Ron...... So, so sorry to hear about this!! I know that you must be devastated. That's a lot of years. But hang in there and think about all the good things that you have in life. Time will make things easier, although it won't make it all disappear. But perhaps you'll encounter another...

    G E Filter Flo set

GE dryer available Hmmm.....I just thought of this......I had a harvest gold dryer in college like this GE one, and it's sitting in my parents' storage building in their backyard in Odessa, TX. I think my dad wishes it wasn't there, so I'll bet he'd love it if I'd get rid of it. Anyone...

    Kenmore Eighty Series set

Fantastic!!! I am so horrified that they were almost crushed. It's like wheeling your old granny to the cemetery and leaving her there in her wheelchair, or something.

    1963 Lady Kenmore W&D Set

Aunt Bettie Jean used to have that washing machine!! I envied her. But we had a 1958 Frigidaire, so I was much better off. But at the time, I thought this machine was sooooooo modern and cool!!
