We had this exact model in my house when I was younger, and when we sold the house, the washer stayed. Ours was white. Great machine.

My Rant For The Day I wonder just how stupid the manufacturers think the public is and how much longer people are going to fall for this marketing BS.... now, blowing steam on clothes to clean them! (smacking forehead) I loathe being forced to scrub the odors out of my clothes manually...

If the modern FL's filled up with enough water to begin with, there wouldn't be need for all these multiple rinses, steam (what a joke) and other nonsense, and consumers could have their 30-minute wash in a front loader.

Yeah I just wish I could have one that did it all. I like the FL because they are gentle on my clothes and the colors don't fade. So it's a toss up.

I get those yucky underarms now, thanks to my environmentally-friendly and "efficient" front loader. It might as well be washing with air, based on the results I've gotten! Bring back the water hogs please!

I agree. Lots more electricity is to wasted by home front loaders to compensate for the insufficient amount of water. My electricity bill has always been way more expensive than my water bill, btw.

Frontloadfan, where have you seen a front loader with "high level washes and rinses" as you stated? I have yet to see one in the American market. All of them are "energy star," which defeats the purpose of washing clothes. My shirts always smell of underarm unless pretreated. I disagree about...

PROS -- Front loaders are good for the large capacity and are fun to watch. The high spin speeds and extra rinses are great to get rid of soapy water, and cut down on drying time. The best part I believe is that the clothes retain their colors longer and don't get worn out as quickly when...
