    Kenmore Pair at Costco

I usually recommend the $449. or $499 Amana, Roper, or Kenmore top load with the 2 piece dual action agitator. This style agitator makes all the difference in rollover. Just be aware that these machines are not built to last more than 8-10 years....sorry to say. Also any matching Whirlpool...

    Kenmore Pair at Costco

I would not get the washer. That agitator is not a 2 piece agitator. Will not move/rollover clothing at all.

'70s (?) Whirlpool BF Refrigerator -- Free (Monterey Bay)

I have the French door version of this ref bought in 1988. Still cooling....no problems except for replacing door gaskets. Best, most trouble free refrigerator my family has ever had.

    Favorite Agitator?

Also my favorite agitator is the spiralator from Easy. Then it's the super roto-swirl.

    Favorite Agitator?

Another unique innovation from Whirlpool was they ALWAYS had a perforated tub and pressure controlled water level. None of this water wasting timed fill or overflowing fill that triggered a diaphram switch. Though the solid tub GE's with filter flo did recirculate the water to the filter pan.

Replacing dead Affinity ATF6000ES washer - limited depth

I have a new, out of the box, Affinity f/l washer. Model # FAF3801LW. Was bought for a customer who then changed her mind. I have had it for 5/6 years, but it is brand new. Still has shipping bolts installed.

    Maytag A510 replacement agitator

Just goes to show you that dual action agitators are NOT a gimmick, and they do work as intended.

Kenmore Triple Action agitator washer stuck on "Sensing" .

Sounds like a bad lid lock. Since you have already removed it from the machine, just replace the lid lock and use it the way you have been. The washer will drain the water after 10 min if the lid is left up, so that tells me the lid lock is suspect.

    LDG512 Maytag that is loud..

Might be a loose/stripped blower wheel.

    Maytag WU-1000 Soap Dispenser

I may have a 901839 dispenser. Is that the part # you are looking for?

    Wall oven below cooktop?

Never understood putting a built in wall oven directly below a cooktop. Always thought a wall oven's advantages were eye level convenience. Who knew!

Maytag MDBTT59AWW vs. GE Potscrubber 845

If the Maytag is a true Maytag tall tub, door latch handle (that always breaks) is NLA, as is the control panel (in any color). The GE might be a safer bet, although older.

Question regarding 24" Gas Self Cleaning Wall Oven

I think Whirlpool/Maytag/Amana only offer Aqua-lift steam clean. Not very effective.

    Replacement refrigerator defrost timer question

Old timer part # is 482493. New part # is w10822278.

First time KitchenAid Superba owner seeking advice

Chlorine based detergents will help with coffee/tea stains. Wash cycles on the older dishwashers are short, and modern detergents with enzymes and not chlorine bleach need longer main wash cycles. Plus chlorine based detergents help to keep the inner tank white.

    Buying a new dishwasher

The new Kitchenaid dishwasher has a new wash system ( maybe Microclean?) and also leak detection. The 3rd rack lets you put 6" glasses and coffee mugs there, and has 2 rotating spin tubes to wash the 3rd rack. I like the pocket handle style with the cycle selections on the front. It alternates...
