The Kenmore spins again. I got the new solenoid wig wag and installed it today and it's fixed. Thanks to all of you guys for the advice. I love this site.

maybe you could try to change out the agitator to one that has smaller fins that would be easier on the transmission.

the two guys from American Pickers on the history channel should see that.

Thanks Gordon, I have already orded a new wig wag and have already taken off the old one. I can tell that the plunger is still good and I am pretty convinced that the solenoid has gone bad. i washed the machine last night from behind and the spin cam bar never tried to move. yeah the wig way...

i don't have a volt/ohm meter but i didn't realize it was that easy so i don't need a new plunger then and the solenoids just sit on top of the plungers. i remember seeing a bolt in the center. is there a video anywhere on youtube on who to change it out? i seem to remember there was one that...

ok thanks yeah i think it's the solenoid and i see there is a manual on how to change this part out. i can tell this is gonna be a ***** to change.

can a solenoid go bad realy quick? cause I just did a load and everything worked fine, but then on this last load it would not spin. how do you change one of those solenoids out?

if the cam bar move then should it move towards the back of the machine?

I don't think the cam bar moved but i am not realy sure. but i am not sure if the solenoid engaged how would i know if does or not? and i am assumeing (looking at it from the back of the machine) the spin solenoid is the one on the left i saw the one on the right move when it went into agitate...

Hey guys my belt drive Kenmore will not spin. It will agitate and drain and fill but not spin. I already know it's not the lid switch and it's not the timer unless there is something wrong with the two timers i have for it. I would appreaciate any help you pros can give me.

well that's what i was thinking, i used to have a maytag dryer that is made by whirlpool and i never had a problem with clothes drying in it due to the dryer sheets. but i had stoped using the dryer sheets and it still wasn't drying them good but not that i changed out this conrol board it works...

I didn't have the model you have pictured above but i did have the MVWC300VW which is a bol version of the above model and it preformed realy good. I simply got rid of it cause i finaly found a belt drive kenmore and a center dial maytag from 1979. the dryer worked realy good too and it was...

Hey guys, the part for my dryer came today and I installed it and it fixed the problem. The auto dry cycle is not working like it's suppose too.

detergent cup opening part way my maytag does the same thing, when the door is completely closed on the dishwasher the upper rack stops the detergrent cup from opening all the way but it opens enough for the detergent to drop into the water.

Ok I will stop using the dryer sheets and have reduced the amount of liquid fabric softener i used to fill the cap full but not i fill it to the lowest line in the cap then dilute with hot water. i do however think that the board DadoES mentioned might also be faulty too. I have found on that...
