Is it OK to transport a vintage Maytag washer lying down on the backside or does it have to be transported in the upright position?

Heck Guess I'll just leave well enough alone unless there is a problem. I am sure that oil is in need of changing though.

Was wondering if it is a good idea to change out the transmission oil in my vintage Maytag washer? I am considering draining the old oil and replacing with fresh new oil. How would I drain out the old and is there a fill plug somewhere on top?

I am trying to figure out what is the best way to open the little door on my Maytag gas dryer shown in the picture located on the lower front of the machine. No little knob to pull and I was pushing on it with no results. Do I have to open it from the inside some how? Thanks.

Looking at buying this vintage Maytag washer and matching gas dryer. I am guessing it is somewhere around the mid 1970s but I am sure one of the experts can identify it for me and give me a little bit of info on it. I like the look, but wish the panel would light up. Thanks.

Looks Like My V-Handle My 1953 V-Handle Philco looks pretty much like this except I can open mine from either side. This is nice and I like the handle.

I am considering buying this vintage refrigerator that appears to be from the late 1950s. The brand tag shows RCA/Whirlpool. Thought RCA was into electronics only, how were they related to refrigerators? What was the quality for this brand back then if anyone knows? Thanks.
