High speed was my favorite speed, and still is. This washer built tough doesn't mess around nor does it let ground-in dirt hide.

I remember when GE tried to agitate like Whirlpool did. Whirlpool could really whip out the dirt in your clothes.

I bet it was advanced technology back in the day, considering Whirlpool used computer technology to make them.

Hello everybody. When will we see a film of the Whirlpool Design 2000? It would be interesting to see what came of it and how it was developed, plus the washability tests. I've also been looking for commercials on this washer. Thanks so much. P.S. This was advanced technology at the time.

I will say that it has a very nice scent and it cleans nice.

You missed out on the filter-flo.

This especially was true on normal/fast and super water level, and extra heavy cottons setting. And you could hear the underwater muffled banging. Yes, we used laundry detergent and fabric softener properly which did the job.

I had a 2000 version which did that noise in 2004. Yes, it shook during agitation.
