I will soon be giving up a KDS-15 in running condition, but with rusty interior... in other words probably a parts car. Everything else is great. A tenant who didn't like it and was shown how to work it, turned it off in mid cycle as soon as we were out of sight... as it was left for the next...

Loose pieces in KUDS22 Is anyone familiar with the composition of the check valve assembly? That was where a loose piece was blocking the drain line... which was removed. We don't know whether it originated there or moved down the line. Any suggestions? Kate

Thank you! Thanks for your response, Gary. I believe the Parts List from Kitchenaid is what was needed. As found, a failure to drain was traced to a grommet and another small piece lodged in the line. Their removal cleared up the drain problem. Perhaps we can now discover where they came...

I don't think the owner has researched the historical significance of the model, only finds it interesting because of the age. He also assumes it is repairable and usable, on which Larry of Modern Parts would not agree. At the moment it is still installed in its presumably original position, but...
