    Home Again

About 4.5 years ago (November 2019), I put all my appliances in storage. My now ex and I had sold our house and moved into our motorhome. In April of 2021, we separated and I moved into an apartment. In May of 2022, I moved from Phoenix, Arizona to Austin, Minnesota and bought a house. The...

My ex and I installed a set of Revcos (1 refrigerator and 1 freezer) at our outside bar at our old house. We sold the house 2 years ago and they are still there.

Armenta5050 Yours looks to be in very good condition. That is cool that it all works too. How long have you had it and where did you get it from?

    Roseanne

It's not that my set is the same style, but it's identical to include the material. The set, according to my grandfather was bought new in 1990. They didn't use it often and always had it covered.

Back in May when I got my own apartment, I needed a couch. I didn't want to buy a new one. My sister's husband wanted to get rid of their old set, so they gave me theirs. Prior to my sister owning it, it belonged to my grandparents, who purchased it new. Anyways I just discovered it's the...

If you are wanting to sell it as an auction, maybe Ebay would be a better choice. Or even a local auction house might work too.

favorite washer dryer set you would went to add to your collection?

My ultimate dream set is the 1957 Frigidaire Custom Imperial set. In all honesty, any color would be fine with me, but I do like the color that is pictured. The next one would be the 1957 Lady Kenmore. I currently have the dryer in pink, so would like to have the washer in the same color. Lastly...

Vintage '50s GE Oven Lights on Front Panel

If I remember correctly, you have to access it from behind, so basically you would have to pull it out from the cabinet. I don't think you would have to fully remove it though. Just about 4 to 6 inches.

    Lamps

This add for "Mid-Century" lamps came up. I actually like the idea of turning the agitators into lamps. I've turned a drum into a chandelier before. https://offerup.com/item/detail/802852113/

Saw Washer on Mama's Family S.1, Ep 11 Alien Marriage

Mama was someone who didn't have a lot of extra money. The machines were probably 20 years old at that time. Wouldn't have been uncommon for someone with not a lot of money to have a mismatched older set.

    Bendix Ironer

Unfortunately I have not even plugged it in. I picked it up earlier and then dropped it off at my storage unit for now. We are currently living in a motorhome so all my collections are in storage right now. We are looking at having a house built, around the first of the year. Hopefully I'll then...

    Bendix Ironer

One of the local Auction houses here happened to have this Bendix Ironer. I've wanted an ironer for a while. I ended up bidding online (online or in house auction) and ended up winning it. I just picked it up today. Here are the auction pictures of it.
