cfz2882 Hello!!Thanks for comment! I think that this Philco has the induction motor, but I'm not pretty sure:) The Antonio Merloni machines are good but not like this Philco or Philco Ford. We have a Philco dryer produced by Antonio Merloni and it's very good. Sorry for my bad english! Gabry
