There are still a lot of Viking appliances still running. I often see them in the paper for sale. Too bad about Eatons, one classy store that had stuff that would last.
Hey Pete, I too had a thang for mustache guy. I remember him from the Sears catalogue. He must have been doing Eatons and Sears at the same time, what a tramp.

A little scoop of 30 year old Bio- Aid should make some suds.
No, that is not a giant turd crawling over the tub, but a make shift knee high lint filter that worked great

The wringer is just so shiny, it's like it has never been used. Maybe another old lady spent her days wringing out clothes by hand.
First wash will be tomorrow.
Did anyone notice La Toya at the funeral? With that big hat on, all she reminded me of was Goldie Hawn in, The First Wives Club.
I wonder if La Toya had been "Freshened Up" up for the funeral?
Whats wrong with the nasty fabric softner dispenser?
It belongs with the washer does it not? This washer looks a lot like the one my mom had. She gave it to my sisiter when she got married. She lived on a farm and had a lot of problems with the time fill. They had well water and really low...
First time something was shredded in my Shredmore
It wasn't even the fringe that get caught. It seemed like the blanket got caught where the two pieces of the agitator meet. I'm suprised something could get wedged in there.
I have had this washer since 1994-95, no problems ever. It rarely goes off balance except for tonight. I washed two 100% cotton blankets and it went off balance after during the first spin.
When I tried to rearrange the blankets, something was caught and then rip.
I saw this on the side of the road and just had to stop and get it.
Odd thing was when I was making fun of it, my mother said she got one as a wedding gift in the 50s. Must have been from one of the mean relatives.
I soaked something in it last year. Smells good, lots of suds and got out the stains. I think the box I have is from the 70s. I think my mom used to buy it.
