I have had this washer since 1994-95, no problems ever. It rarely goes off balance except for tonight. I washed two 100% cotton blankets and it went off balance after during the first spin. When I tried to rearrange the blankets, something was caught and then rip.

I saw this on the side of the road and just had to stop and get it. Odd thing was when I was making fun of it, my mother said she got one as a wedding gift in the 50s. Must have been from one of the mean relatives.

I soaked something in it last year. Smells good, lots of suds and got out the stains. I think the box I have is from the 70s. I think my mom used to buy it.
