Cycling of the pump at the start of drain is normal, it may also stop for a minute or two during or at the end of the spin cycle.

Whoa! Impressively clean and uncomplicated looking inside. That looks like a motor, a drain solenoid, a spin shit solenoid, two water valves and a heater. Does anyone have the wiring diagram and timer contact chart for this machine? I like what I'm seeing including the fast cycle.
