That’s what I might do. It appears that I got the to wires for the heater circuit correct, along with wire 5M. More than likely wires 4M and 6M may need to be reversed if they aren’t correct. Will have to convert it over to 120v since I don’t have 240v available in the garage.

From what a gather, porcelain cabinets were an option. My Whirlpools from 1963 have porcelain tops, but not a porcelain cabinet. Think some Kenmores of the era were the same as well.

If I remember correctly, believe John or Tom mentioned these had as many moving parts as a Volkswagen of the time period.

Good thing is the washer does a fast spin on the intermediate spin which spins out the soapy water/detergent which results in better rinsing performance.

I’d have to say the mid to late 50’s Kenmore TOL automatics with the gaudy styling and the amount of chrome they had. Whirlpool was a little more conservative with their styling but still had some chrome.
