Well at least it's New Old Stock

That dishwasher will clean very well. I had one in a condo my ex and I were renting. Yeah its a bit noisy but this dishwasher can move a good amount of water thru that wash system , like 50 gallons per minute. It does not heat the water or maintain water temps. The silverware basket is a ample...

    LG washtower

The SQ stack washer is a beast in size. I am 5'9 and I have an issue with getting to the back of the dryer. But thats me. I would agree that if you need to get into the washer components then I would go with separate machines and stack them. If one dies you still can keep the other functioning...

Is this a 1989 Maytag Washer and Dryer? Buy?

This washer could have the Orbital transmission...I zoomed in on the lid open pic and noticed the top of the lint filter, softener dispenser and it does have that telltale sign where the edges of the filter are flatter and wider. Not all 613's of this era had the Orbital. The one I had back in...

    LG washtower

That LG WashTower is one unitized system. There is no way to take the dryer off the top of the washer. You should not have to even touch the water level and the water level is adaptive to the load. If you use TurboWash, and I do for every load, the washer is uses plenty of water for washing and...

Canadian 70s/80s Kenmore and possible GE spotted in the wild

That washer is Camco GE built and I remember seeing this washer model at The Bay in Toronto and it should have the Beaumark brand name. These washers had a white washbasket and spiral agitator and if I recall correctly had the Hotpoint "RimFlo" lint filter as well. The loading door opened to the...

Is this a 1989 Maytag Washer and Dryer? Buy?

I had that same Maytag washer model and it is an excellent performer. Very versatile as well and holds quite a bit of laundry. One bit of advice is to make sure you close all zippers on shorts and pants of they have them to keep the agitator from getting nicked up on the PowerFins. This washer...

Maytag Washer, A710 bleach inlet rusted away ...

That plastic piece in the dispenser port is called a deflector. Its purpose is to allow the bleach to enter the tub and prevent the wash water being pumped up into the hose and dispenser on the top of the washer during the Swirlaway drain spin. The A510 that I had back in the 80's had the port...

    Matching Maytags

Yes. Those Maytag Stream of Heat dryers are very effective and depending on how long the venting is...the shorter the better for these dryers. The DE 710 dryer that I has was one of the fastest dryers when it had just about a foot of venting attached to the dryer to exhaust to the outside. The...

Maytag A212. Speed or single speed?

The LAT 9356 Maytag washer that I had was 2 speeds that was built into the timer. There was no separate switch for the speeds…just the cycle control and a control for the temp and one for water level. This washer was Maytag built with the Orbital transmission and the LoadSensor agitator.

    Encore Pro Commerical Washer

The thing is that on the LaundryLux website they dont show the top loaders or maybe I wasn't looking in the right place there. Didn't Haier come out with residential laundry some time ago that had this agitator ? For some reason I remember seeing that the agitator is actually an "Agipellor"...

Persil "Pro Clean" Sensitive Amazon Prime Special

Well this size jug is also a 2X concentrated detergent. At 110 loads its not a bad deal. I bought a bottle a year ago of the Persil Deep Clean 2X and I was surprised at the cap difference and by how much more sudsing that this version does. Regular American made Persil does suds up some but...

    New Frigidaire Disposal

I have an ISE Evolution Compact pig that is very quiet and does the job. I never have an issue with aroma coming from said pig. My dishwasher drains right into it and every so often I use those Disposer Care packets that foam like mad to scour the insides out. The only thing that I will have to...

Kitchen Aid by Hobart portable dishwasher

Yes I am living here in sunny yet hot and humid Florida. Been here now for almost 2 years now. And in Brooksville as well.

And not even the right silverware basket...

Kitchen Aid by Hobart portable dishwasher

You know for some odd ball reason methinks that this pic is recycled from another posting a month or so ago...but it looks very familiar even down to the same lower rack that does not belong to this series of KA dishwashers...had one when I was growing up in Maine back in the early 80's...the...

Maytag Commercial Washer MVWP575GW Warranty Repair

I too wondered that ..how do you know that the belt is better? Did you remove the cage that covers the belt, motor and pulleys? That would be the only way one would know about how the belt is...just sayin

    Maytag DE806

That washer looks like it has very low, if any, milage on it. That wash basket is pristine and the agitator as well. I zoomed into the interior pic and usually one can see wear marks on the PowerFin agitator vanes if one does not close zippers and such. Those are tell tale signs plus the holes...

Best way to wash delicates in a Maytag A112?

The 112 if I recall correctly is the bottom of the Maytag line standard capacity blue tub washer. If you have the Orbital transmission or the original long stroke one with PowerFin agitator, I would use the Full Load water level and set the washer timer to the 6 min mark. Let the washer fill and...

    Panasonic convertable washer

Actually that Panasonic washer was available in the early 90's and was impeller based if I remember right. I did see it in person at a store in Maine back then and thought the very same thing when looking at it that it was Whirlpool based, but its not. Whirlpool had nothing to do with this...

Rare 1980 Kenmore Portable dishwasher- $50 Appears Un-used

I doubt that this dishwasher was unused...the lower rack has rust areas on the tines and has missing vinyl coating here and there. Thats a tell tale sign that the dishwasher was used. Had it not been the condition of those racks would be a tad pristine, these are far from it.
