. I think I probably vacuumed it up! Now I have to dig thru the vacuum. Part # 311534 or 3-11534 felt seal...how hard is it to make one of these or repurpose a different part number? If I order the correct part it’s $35, I can get this for $5:

. Inner and outer felt seal? The drum had the remains of a seal around the outer front edge. Where do I find the other seal? Maybe it’s completely gone! Yes I looked at redcarpetdrew’s pic, my inner felt seal is gone....in his old thread he even warns to replace it or risk the heating element...

. Glad you got it sorted. I sometimes take a different tack when replacing parts. As in, “the original stuff failed. I will try something different this time.” Not always...but if something fails I loose the tendency toward loyalty.

I am selling our Sunfrost because it is no longer needed. We had a temporary (3 years!) secondary kitchen set up downstairs, but have now consolidated back to one. It’s a good price for one of these as they sell for ridiculously high prices new...

. Bluing is strange. I use very liberal amounts of “Goof Off” (I buy the gallon size at Home Depot). The rag needs to be continually dampened and the blue will quickly succumb with repeated aggressive wiping. Sometimes a scrubbie is needed. The rag soon develops an encrustation as if layers of...

. Is this TOL? Anything to get excited about? That drum looks low use compared to what I usually see in much newer dryers, no bluing. Maybe the owner used the line a lot. That’s almost always an option in parts of San Diego.
