Old motor does not have capacitor. Will try motor with belt. I wander if the motor is bad.

We did get the motor in. I thought the motor was only thing wrong because the washer would just stop and, in an hour, would start back up again. Washer still will not start just slight humming noise. Most likely will return the motor in a few days and retire this washer> Wish they still made...

Installed motor. I have orange wire motor has red wire . Also motor had a purple wire washer does not. Does the orange go with the red.

Cleaned motor pulley, now just waiting for my son in law to let me know when he can help install it. should I replace the belt at the same time, I have new belt as well? Thanks for the help & information I greatly appreciate it. David
