Those shoe strings were installed in both their washers and dryers by the manufacturer so when you popped the top, it wouldn’t fall of/backwards. Pretty clever!
The skinny-mini already went to the crusher — no takers here or on Craigslist/Facebook.
I still have an 80s Wards Signature I will be posting soon. I also have a mid-80s Whirlpool set (washer needs wig wag which I have new replacement part). The 1930 Maytag wringer is also still available...
This is one of the most difficult decisions — I can’t take this set with me to Hawai’i and hate to see them turned into Toyotas. Both work extremely well despite the dryer control panel is a bit faded but both are true workhorses! Please email me [email protected] if interested.
Still works but she drips a little oil. Given to me by a very dear man and I’m sad to part with the machine but can’t take it with me to Hawai’i. Free to good home.
Nice ‘74 working LK set. Dispenser hose is a bit clogged and main dial needs tightening but other than that both washer & dryer work fine. Just replaced the washer wigwag so it should chug away for many more years.
Nice GE washer 1968ish I believe. Works great! Free to anyone who wants it.

Am really hoping someone can save this machine. I believe it’s a 1955 or 56 Timeline. Timer kinda stuck. I have plugged it in and the motor engages, but needs a belt and there’s a lot of transmission oil in the cabinet. Possibly could be used for parts but hate to see this machine turned...
Not sure of the vintage of these, but they both work pretty well. Washer won’t engage into gentle speed, but other than that, works fine. Dryer works perfectly. Free to good home. If interested, please email me at [email protected].
