AquaCycle im sorry but i have to dissagree with your "at least it's a proper Hotpoint and not a vile Indesit made machine" comment... i have to say i have one of those "Vile" indesit made hotpoints and its a brilliant machine... DO NOT DISS a brand based on their previous mistakes... indesit...

i prefare the old distribute/spin/distribute/spin method as found on the older ones and the method ariston and indesit used for years.

i think i should just point out that if you create a thread and expect responses within less than two hours your expecting to much... i think otbers will agree that add messages under your post such as "?" is pointless after such a short period of time... people on this fourm are busy people...

at the time i posted it reminded me of a haier unit for some reason after seeing the dryer in person today while i was at currys i know its a real electrolux.... however some new zanussis are made by wuxi little swan in china but those models are easy to spot

looks like a Haier/vestel unit in Zanussi clothing.... still looks nice i hope it gives you many years of good service :)

servis are here in ireland and are indeed made by vestal the washers ive seen are mainly bush rebages

Nrones-i agree with you in the sense that you love Candy as i love Ariston, Ariston has taken quite a few batterings on this forum for lack of quality however with my experience with any Ariston washing machines Ive come into contact with have been perfect workhorses that get on with the job and...

Regardless of brands its Candy thats in the spotlight now At the end of the day Candy/Hoover machines are exploding and its something that cannot be ignored or brushed off with a replacement machine and some small compensation, what if a child simply walking past the machine as it explodes was...

im sorry but this is just happening too much lately with Hoover/Candy machines, they need to think about a major recall of machines that may suffer with this issue... what are they waiting for someone to be killed before they do something??

hi all recently my nana's Zanussi/Electrolux FF which is approx 10 years old has started making this ticking noise which sounds like its getting louder...any ideas on what could be causing this? is the fridge just nackard or easy fix?

have said that in my above comment i do really love the new styling of the new hotpoints.... hoover on the other hand is just plain boring.. we have a Hotpoint WMA541G and its nearly a year old and does 3 washes a day and its brilliant i love it... we also have the matching dryer and dishwasher...

if i was head of design in for some companies id love to bring some new ideas to the Hotpoint/Ariston and Hoover/Candy range of appliances.

here is my Dyson Contrarotator inspired design which i was asked to do by HotpointFan hope you guys like.... i drew this really quickly only took 15 minutes so it may not be perfect.

the currys essential drum is a reincarnation of the old Hotpoint drum before Indesit takeover.... the beko is a computer generated image as they havnt an offical photo of the machine for the website yet.... i love the new hotpoint styling but i will miss the Ariston Door.

i want that bosch washer... and ive never been that impressed with bosch but as soon as i seen the first photo of the thread i was like WOW....
