For You GE "Ramp" Agitator Fans

I remember the GE built BOL or near BOL DWs. In fact, I purchased a few of them for rental properties. I think I remember the stoves. I did not know that they did washers. I wouldn't be surprised. I remember seeing some BOL GE, top freezer frigs, around 1997, that had the RCA label on them.

    1940s? Hotpoint Two Door Fridge

statenisland guy "They had the same one in the breakroom on the old cop show "Adam 12". " I was thinking the same thing. In fact, if you go to the Hulu site, you'll see it in their screen cap for episode 10 in the 1st season. I wasn't sure if it was this, or the Foodorama. Now I know...

    Food Dehydrator

yes Malcolm, the bottom is just a piece of plastic with no holes. It easily washes, like the racks, in the sink. I suppose if someone were making something that dripped a lot of juice.... It would be able to hold quite a bit. I've only had to clean off a few drips, here and there.

    Food Dehydrator

The first thing I dehydrated was 2 pineapples. Then, 2 weeks ago, I got 4 containers of strawberries that were quickly turning. I sorted, out of all of them, one container of flawless berries, which I put in the refrig to eat as is. The rest I cleaned, sliced off unusable portions, and...

    Food Dehydrator

I recently acquired... my first dehydrator. Nesco American Harvest. I found it on CL for $40. It came in the box with manuals. The woman lives near by and also has a big account on Ebay. It appears as it was never used. I love it. It uses 500 watts or half a kilowatt per hour. It...

Nice save, Jeff. I have a soft spot for the 20 & 24" ranges. I don't know why. Probably because of the mini size and appeal. I hope your able to get the stove working. Maybe be able to adapt the stove to electronic igniters.

    Ge ff washer parts.

gosh, I don't want to believe these are getting hard to find.  When I was fixing and collecting in the early 80s and mid 90s,  I had so many, I didn't know what to do with them.  I never would have thought about buying a GE agitator or filter pan. Now..... It's been almost 20 years since they...

    Frigidaire Poppy Washer & Dryer

Brian "I wish these had is the viewing window"   I bet that wouldn't be too dificult to do.  Get a round piece of safety glass, some rubber gasket, a jig saw with metal blade, and carefully cut a hole, centered, in the lid.  It doesn't need to be water tight, or even air tight.    In fact...

    Today's Little Project

"The Model 700 can soften up to 70 grains per gallon "   I use about 1000 gallons of water a month including some garden watering.  This is in the U.S, and is vastly less than the typical person who uses 2400 to 3000 gallons a month.  And I'm implementing a Grey water system so just about all...
