When our hoover softwave died in 2003 mum ordered a basic indesit, from square one we had problems, it leaked through the door as the screws weren't tight enough, then after 3 months the pump went, then after another 3 months, it had a new motor and things kept getting jammed into the pump...

Bosch/Siemens dishwasher with a detatchable power lead?

Glenfield, the one I saw had a grey cord, yes I also think its a fantastic idea as a family coming in from the EU or AU,ect with one of these dw's can ask BSH to send them a UK cord for it, meaning less waste and so on. Tom

Hotpoint New Generation Exclusive 1535 and Creda Reversair 37404

My mother had that creda dryer! she bought it second hand of my auntie Irene. When it was working it was briliant (according to mum), but it had a faulty safety switch and everytime the dryer was on, the catch would become soft and the door would open, she used to open the back door and face the...

    Tricity Bendix Jet System

1992? same era as my zanussi FL853. Love these Tricity Bendix machines, but I never knew that they existed in the early 90's! I can remember the INDEX mail order catalouge selling Tricity Bendix machines by the bucket load :) Tom

Hello all, Well, reciently I ran a boilwash in my zanussi FL853, I set it to run on programme P (prewash) which cycles on to programme A (95*c mainwash). I left the machine and as I came back to the machine it was ending the prewash and started the mainwash, or so I thought. It filled through...

Siemens "Outdoor", Hotpoint "Cuddly Toys", AEG Super silence "Extra Quiet Mode"? Critcisim-Watchdog

I often find that most appliances have needless cycles that I hardley use, for example: the gorenje useLOGIC condenser dryer has different cycles for things such as jeans and it also has an array of steam cycles, now, I use the cottons extra dry, synthetics very dry, and XXL, I use the steam...

A condenser dryer that takes just 37 minutes?

The zanussi still didnt dry a small load of pyjamas properly, it left them damp and I cleaned all the fluff from the dryer. It was set for 65 minutes on cottons heat and still left things damp, the whirlpool is recovering them from the damp. Most unimpressed lol Tom

A condenser dryer that takes just 37 minutes?

Well Chris, after mums siemens IQ700 heat pump dryer broke back around mid-late feb to march, Im swarn off siemens and bosch, infact (and this was confermed by BSH) the dryers are made in Poland and not Geramany, it tangles bedding up badly and tbh its not the worlds best dryer. A condenser dryer that takes just 37 minutes?

@Liam: my zanussi condenser is the same model as yours, a load of towels from my 1600 spin zanussi ZWG7160P still takes 130 where as the load takes 85 mins in the gorenje or 55 in the whirlpool. @aquacycle: glad to hear your siemens is working out great :) does it have a reverse tumble? Tom :)
