Bug Report #6 New "Program Computer" Thread Memory with Cycle Signal Indicator Lights

Oh, and the lights appear to work fine in Safari on a Mac. Does everything get reset back to baseline whenever you push code? I noticed they were all at default when I went to Super but then after I posted my message above, backed up and hit refresh this thread lit up.

Bug Report #6 New "Program Computer" Thread Memory with Cycle Signal Indicator Lights

Title? Hey is there any way to get the actual thread *title* in the browser title bar along with / instead of "Thread # 12345"? Or has that been discussed and vetoed before?

2012-Conventional top load washers being discontinued?

Have to disagree about water vs. energy ...politely, of course! In an ever-increasing part of the US it really *is* more about water than energy. Water may be a huge problem right now in your particular area but even the normally wet-and-green southeast has seen its share of drought...

    Load sorting.

rohnic has our strategy about down, with the following minor changes 1 x jeans (since they seem to beat up anything washed with them) 2 x sheets (king size set and then the two fulls upstairs, together) 1 x kitchen / cleaning / dog towels on extra hot with extra detergent. I only wash the dog...

Anyone have experience with the new full-sized Bosch Vision washers? Why the manufacturer's rebates?

I've never had mine stop and drain in an oversuds situation but I have had it go into "suds reduction" (probably +cooling) mode when things got too foamy, and that really extends the wash cycle. The key I've found is to *always* use a low-sudsing detergent or it'll take twenty forevers to...

Anyone have experience with the new full-sized Bosch Vision washers? Why the manufacturer's rebates?

I have a Nexxt 500 and it looks like they did a major redesign of the Vision washer. It is now a non-tilted horizontal axis washer with front controls, a redesigned detergent drawer, smaller paddles and can even be stacked! The Vision dryer looked the same inside the drum as my Nexxt, but I...

    New Miele W4842 & T9822

Fiberglas It was mentioned over in the archived thread below (which contains more disassembly pics, btw) that the tub is actually a kind of fiberglass so it should be quite durable since they make boats out of that stuff. The other stated benefit (besides bleach resistance) is that it helps...

I present.... ...the (homemade) glazed bacon doughnut.

    BACON!

I love the cast-iron skillet method but the best way I've found to do it for a crowd is in the oven so I don't have to cook in batches. I uses a baking pan that has a cooling rack on it (see link below for an example) and cook it on convection @ 325 for 20-25 minutes. I think the convection...

    Revisiting Dishwasher Detergents with Phosphorus

Let's just hope... ...the manufacturers get their acts together and come up with some phosphate-free formulas that are both safe on dishes and effective cleaners, and that they do it in less time it took them to produce decent laundry detergents without phosphates. From reading those articles...

    Whirlpool engineers strike out.

To resurrect this thread... ...it appears that, just in time for our tax refund, I may be in the market for a new fridge since our ~9yo KitchenAid was lukewarm this morning. I'm hoping it was because the freezer door may have been ajar last night, but if not then I'm looking since the cost of a...

New LG-Based Kenmores Zip To Top Of CR Ratings

    Affresh is a joke....

Citric acid products (like Lemishine) work and would probably be cheaper. I've also had good luck using a phosphate-containing dishwasher tablet every couple of weeks on an extra-hot empty cycle to clean out any leftover gunk. That, plus stopping the use of fabric softener (using a full...

OMG! Joe posts an appliance related question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I was still using the Cascade 3-in-one gel pacs I had to use DW Magic every couple of months to keep the limescale from building up like flocking on the SS tub. Since I switched to Finish Quantum Powerball I haven't seen much (if any) buildup, but it has only been about a month. But I was...

    Us wood made houses

Terminology I would like to correct at least one bit of terminology: here in the US (or at least in the south where I live) "timber frame" usually means big heavy post-and-beam construction that would be more typical in "old world" construction and is both beautiful and expensive. "Stick built"...

    Miele W3033 Washer / T8003 Dryer

lip2000, Mine has a metal top, back and sides... can't recall if the front is plastic or not. The control panel and most of the door cover is though, and in fact the outer plastic "lens cover" on the washer window is a tiny bit loose and rattles during high-speed spin. One gripe I have is...

    Miele W3033 Washer / T8003 Dryer

Good grief! 240lb for that tiny thing? My Titanic-sized Bosch Nexxt 500 is approximately ~220lb, and it is much larger than the small Miele's I've seen. That's build quality!
