Bearing Puller I loved my bearing puller, I wore out two of them.It was fun to use and made removing the bearings so much easier.I recently got a new one the last one in the country I think.

Scraping From the picture the washtub is leaning down.That ring is the clothes guard.My guess is you have bad tub bearings or a broken tub support which those machines were famous for doing.Those machines are a lot of fun I have a 1950s version of that. You could fix that but I have been told...

Kenmore Set Those would be 1972-73 with the plasic tub ring and still the chrome doorhandles.Very nice,blue speckle basket.The dials light up also.Excellent set for somebody.

oil You could also just blast the bottom with degreaser and the machine would probably go another 5 years without a problem.I have done it many times.

Cap I have that washer and the dryer in green.Unscrew the cap and pour unrelenting hot water on the agitator if it wont come off. One trick is to put the washer into dry agitate and stop it so the agitator is in gear and wont move.

No Heat Either it isn't getting 220v to the machine or you have a broken wire to the element or the element has failed.Feel for a break.
