    Cisco Helps

My mom swore by Crisco. The only time she bought something else is when $ would be really tight. It's not just for cooking either. This is an ex friend of mine, LOL. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/10/chad-william-forber-arrested-naked-crisco_n_1765198.html

    Detergents thread (August 2012)

I bought a medium size bag of Roma at Family Dollar to try. I does have a strong scent in the bag, but hardly leaves any scent after the clothes are dried. I would like to go back to the Sears Ultra Plus or Fresh Start, haven't used those in a while.

    Frigidaire inheritance, and other things!!!!

I had a set of turquoise Club Aluminum cookware that my ex boss gave me, she also gave me a set of replacement handles. I loved those pans, wish I still had them. I like that fan, never seen one like that before.

    Speed Commercial Top Loader

The Speed Queen triple loader uses a decent amount of water, more than my Frigidaire Gallery, and it was extremely quiet, I couldn't even tell it spinning unless I went over and look at it directly. I would love to have a SQ triple loader in my house.

    Frigidaire Tuch Control TWIN TUB

I used a Hoover Twin Tub for almost years. It was fine for myself, and it was better than walking up and down four flights of stairs. I had the Hoover dryer too, the washer was harvest gold, and the dryer was avocado green. The pump went out on the washer, and I sold the dryer to friend.

    Cool Vintage Stove

Is that the tank on the left? What are the tanks underneath? I've never seen a stove like this before. I've seen the old wood cook stoves, but nothing like this one.

EWWW!!! OMG, EWWW!! I'll never be the same again!!!

If they aren't poisonous, they don't really bother me. I used to play with them when I was a kid. I used to go to friends house on the weekends out in the country, and occasionally we would run into a rattler but we knew well enough to leave them alone, which is exactly what we did.

Trying a new to me detergent.

I did three loads using it and it seems pretty good, my clothes weren't super dirty so it worked alright for me. It doesn't leave a strong scent behind, which is nice.

Trying a new to me detergent.

I bought a bag of Roma laundry detergent at Family Dollar today. I was getting bored with liquids so I decided to give this a try. Anyone else like and use it?

    Speed Commercial Top Loader

I went to the laundromat with my Al to help him with his laundry all of the machines were Speed Queen front load were triple loaders and single load top loaders. I opened the lid on the top loader and was shocked by the low water level. I don't think the tub was even half full of water. I...

Great restoration job. She looks beautiful! I have a Frankentag the cabinet tag says it's an 806, the tag on the control panel says it's a 606, so I really don't what model it is, it's harvest gold as well.

    Kenmore 80 Series

I had a TOL Kenmore in the early 90's that had dispensers for detergent, bleach, and fabric softener. I had it for about 5 years never had any problems at all with damaged clothes.

Variety is the spice of life.

Been busy cleaning today. I used my Decade 80 in the living room, dining room, front porch, and outside mats. Used the Electrolux XXX on the steps and bare floors. The Kirby Tradition was used in my bedroom and the Kirby LII was used in the upstairs hallway and roommates bedrooms. Is that enough...
