One is probably for the warming zone on the cooktop. Centered between the two back burners and I'll bet the other is for the warming drawer. Instead of a storage drawer some higher end units had a warming drawer. This was probably a TOL for Sears at the time. Mike

Just add fabric softener.., I have a SQ TL AWN542 going on 7 years. If you're concerned just go back to the washer the old fashioned way and add your fab soft to the final rinse or add another cup if you've already used the dispenser. That's what I do when I use the second rinse. Mike

I've looked at the new GE Top Load washer in Lowe's and Home Depot, and have noticed that the washer is no longer front service-able, and the whole cabinet appears to be solid in the back as well!!! There are no visible screws in the front that I noticed, I thought maybe the whole cabinet tilts...

Love the MAYTAGS!!! They really are beautiful machines and I love the fact that the washer has a "wrinkle control" aka Permanent Press Cycle! Beautiful Color and I'm glad you went with them instead of SS or LG!! These are really striking and great performers too I'll bet!! I love my SQ TL and...
