Macy's had some incredible deals so I ventured out. It wasn't really crowded when I went at 9:30am and was able to get in and out in an hour. I think I dropped about $300 and was able to complete 90% of my Christmas list
The condo I moved into last year had an Ace Hardware version of the Badger 5. It clogged a few times in the first 3 months that I lived here. Replaced it with an ISE Evolution Space Saver from Lowe's. 5/8 hp and auto reverse all for only about $160. Haven't had a clog since
Every other Saturday night my sister, her boyfriend and I play board games and have a few drinks. Our go to is Monopoly but we also play Clue, Trivial Pursuit and Life. My mother bought The Golden Girls Monopoly for Xmas so in a few weeks we'll play that
I currently have an Amana dishwasher from around 2013 and it's pretty good but the vintage bug is biting at me again. There is a Kitchen Aid dishwasher near me but I know it only has a single after rinse. Is it really necessary to have 2 post wash rinses? I'm pretty anal about clean dishes and...
I think I would love to have a Miele or a Bosch in the future but I have a 9x13 Pyrex baking dish that I use at least once a week. Looking at pics of their different racks I can't see anywhere that it would go. I used to have a problem fitting it in my old Kitchen Aid KDC-61A. It's just huge
We got our first in a long line of coffee makers in 1986 or 1987 starting with a Norelco Dial a Brew. Next up was a Proctor Silex, a Mr. Coffee, a Mr. Coffee Accel, a Braun, a Kitchen Aid, another Braun, and my present Bunn.
I was very hesitant to get a dishwasher that had a filter but I'm really surprised that since November there has been nothing to clean out of it. However at least once a week or so I run Sani Rinse so maybe that does help to clean things out
The Braun Aromaster was my favorite coffee maker of all time. I had 2 of the 10 cup models just like Ina's over the years. I was devastated when I found out that they were discontinued. Now I have a Bunn so all is good again
My aunt had the same one except her has 4 buttons: Power Scrub, Normal Soil, China Crystal, and Rinse and Hold. Hers was bought in 1974 or 75. Her silverware basket was green though. I must have used that machine 100 times
Update: This dishwasher has exceeded my expectations except for the racks which need to be wider between the prongs. I am continually impressed with the washing ability. I rotate between One Hour Wash and Pots and Pans with Hi Temp. When I got this dishwasher I said that I was going to go...
