A Front Loader That Can Actually Balance a Heavy Load?

My duet can be just the same and not just with small loads, but worse at times with larger loads consisting of jeans or sheets, we're talking one cocked up tangled mess, not pretty. Good Luck :)

    Finicky Water Level

dj-gabriele I can check these as well it wouldn't take much time to do,anything to keep the repair bill at bay.

    Finicky Water Level

No error codes However the machine will not fill in the first rinse if the extra rinse option is on in the white cycle so I have to take it off as it is pre programmed. Up until a few weeks ago it was fine but I did have trouble using the persil and I may have found the culprit. It doesn't seem...

    Finicky Water Level

My duet seems to be not filling the way it use to for rinsing particularly on the white cycle. I was thinking maybe it needs a new water pressure switch, any suggestions would be appreciated. Tks

    New Washer

@westie2 Nice front loader, you say it rinses good, does it have a warm water rinse option by any chance?

    Persil powder

@stan That could also be, I do try to get them rinsed as good as possible, I use warm water rinsing in the winter for towels, and it just seemed unusual as I haven't had this problem til now using the persil. And the spinning may also be part of the problem,as Launderess has mentioned her own...

    Persil powder

@tomturbomatic I'm prone to believe that the intermittent spins may be part of the problem as I had two loads today not finish in the last spin, it wouldn't balance, so I gave it a drain/spin and then a rinse cycle to finish both loads. As for the detergent I'm not near the of it yet, so it...

    Persil powder

Thank You Now I know it's just something that happens, in my case once in a while.

    Persil powder

Been using this detergent for some time now and find it rinses very well, until this morning for some reason? I checked the machine to see where it was in the cycle and the final rinse was sudsy which is very unusual. I didn't use any more than a tablespoon of detergent for a full load of...

    Sears Ultra Plus

@polkanut Or like Sears did here, and changed the formula of it's detergent all together and it never did work like the original. I remember alot of complaints about them changing the detergent and people not buying again because it had lost it's cleaning ability.

Water level / temp. in new Frigidaire FL'ers

water level adjustment I adjusted the water level on my duet and it rinses much better, not too high either as the gates on my duet are in the back of the drum and anything too high would have made the machine non-effective for tumbling the load. I find the bulky cycle is much better as well.

Assuming the AWN 542 goes away at end of 2014

energy standards put in place in 2012 will be mandatory 2015 I keep reading about new energy standards, when I don't understand why they allow a machine to take twice as long to clean clothes using electricity and expect it to be done with little to no water. Why aren't they just as concerned...

HE Detergent in Top Load Washer, opinions please...

Interesting...... what about detergents labeled for both top load and HE machines are these made differently or are they HE in disguise ??

    Clean Rinsing Detergents

90 degree maintenance washes If these are not helping I would say it's time to give up on the product or seriously cut back on dosage and see what results you get if you like the product so much? I use the Persil liquid on bulky items but no more than two teaspoons depending on the item and it...

    We're Hatching...... and a Stream-lined Surgilator in a New Coin-Op.

@mickeyd Looks like Whirlpool is working both sides to keep the peace, I do wonder about the longevity of these latest top loaders ?

    New FL'r

@laudromat so how old is your Affinity?
  19. R

    New FL'r

With the newer versions using less water for cleaning does this mean poorer rinsing ? Also what would be the best route in a FL'r to purchase today if one would be placing on concrete floor? Tks

    Persil or Ariel for Whites?

Persil Universal Powder for me and I don't use the recommended amount and get great results and it does rinse best for my needs. I have not tried Ariel simply because I don't know where to source it here.
