I moved in a condo equipped with Fisher & Paykel Dish-drawers. After two breakdowns in a year, and the annoying small capacity, and bad complicated loading layout, I replaced them by a Maytag dishwasher. 10 times better. Washing and loading is much better. Extremely quiet. I would never buy...

Congratulations... Beautiful dishwasher, the white racks look brand new. They usually turn yellow after a few decades. The only thing that shows its age is the inner part of the control panel. The grey metal seems yellowish. I wonder if you could get that cleaned up with Bar Keepers...

Not sure if that has anything to do with your issue, but when my vintage Reverse Rack started giving me trouble, not washing properly. I had to replace the belt that broke in two. Belt from the motor to the pump assembly. If you open the bottom front panel, you should see it right there...

With the Maytag dishwasher that I bought last year, I never use any of the cycle options, like Hi-Temp, or Sani wash. Or the Powerblast wash, whatever it is called. I only used Auto cycle, no heat dry, or even just the Normal cycle, no heat dry. It always takes around 1 hour and 15...
