Wow !! Now I get it... That's a lot of loads! The folding part would just kill me.

my first week with the mini washer in the pedestal

If it comes as a pedestal, then there must be a way to disconnect it and install it seperately, on a counter top, or table. Then we can watch how it works. Seems like a fun thing to play with. Not sure if it's worth the extra cost. One can easily use the big washer to do delicate loads...

GE Plastisol to Perma-Tuf transition case history

The Canadian GE potscrubber that we had in the late 70's has a porcelain tub and door liner. White with green speckles, with green racks. With the big GE flat wash arm, tower and a top mini shower arm. The top rack was definitely a GE rack, not Hotpoint. Harvest Gold on the outside. Probably...

will all laundry detergent become avalable in canadien/quebec stores eventulay

All used to be available a long time ago. In the 1970's and 1980's. Persil Pro-Clean is now available at Canadian Wal-Marts and I saw it too at Jean Coutu!!!

    persil

Persil Pro Clean is now available in the Canadian Wal-Mart, and also I saw it at the Jean Coutu Pharmacies. I didn't see the big 64 loads bottles, only the 25 loads. And no Power Pearls, only liquid. A few different versions, Original, Lavender, Cold Water...

    Kitchenaid Hobart Patrician Dishwasher

To Twin Tubber, A KitchenAid is not a KitchenAid without the long original silverware basket. It just does not look right. Sorry. lol It would drive me crazy everytime I open the dishwasher door. Seriously.

    Inside a Bosch

I have a Bosch dishwasher for the last 6 years. I paid around $950 canadian, at Sears. (After a rebate of $200.00 approximately) It is built in the USA. I have been running it every 2 or 3 days, for the last 6 years. Never had a problem. Extremely quiet, and cleans extremely well. I...

Full cycle videos - Maytag Bravos XL (Oasis/Cabrio)

Funny cycle... The first 19 minutes seems to be mostly spinning around.

    There's Gold in Them Hills...

Great looking washer, but I feel bad for the poor dryer that was left behind.

It came with the new house so....

I don't know if the two tone detergent dispenser is a Canadian thing... as far as I know, all Maytag dishwashers, and washer and dryers, were made in the USA. There was no Maytag Canadian factory. Inglis Canada probably made the canadian Kenmore washers and dryers, and those were...

    Jen's First BobLoad

When I had my reverse rack, I always loaded the upper rack knowing that most of the scrubbing action would be coming from the top wash arm. So if I had a dirty frying pan, baking pan or dish, I would always put them along the sides of the rack, next to the small plate tines, dirty surface...

    Jen's First BobLoad

Great machine. I miss my reverse rack Maytag. The bowls, in the top rack, should be facing the front, instead of facing the back. Otherwise, everything else seems good. Have fun with it.

My now working Maytag 806 pair

Beautiful machines.... I would kill for that...lol.. I noticed that the buttons say Small, Medium and Large. No Xlarge. Is it a regular size tub, or the bigger tub with only three water levels? Again, gawrgeous pair.

I got a Filter-flo doday! and now this....

Our Hotpoint filter Flo, that we had in the 1980's, was actually much louder than this. And it was like that from day one. Brand new. That's how they are built.

    TODAY'S P.O.D. 11/27/15

Me neither. Never heard of it. I've seen this ad before. They do look a lot like the models Gibson and Kelvinator made, in the mid-70's. If my memeory serves me right.

    MIB/ NIB Jenn Aire

I would trade my Bosch for that dishwasher. I used to have the Maytag version, from the 70's. I just noticed the CONSERVA Wash cycle. I guess it's the Jenn-Air version of the Light cycle. Funny name.
