Your washer is almost identical to my 86 A412 except yours has the delicate cycle and is a Fabric Matic...it will have the same transmission as the older center dial machines....you will love it.....mine is a workhorse!!!

Thanks combo. And since this machine doesn't have a bleach dispenser, I will have to make sure to add the bleach after the tub gets a good fill on it and then add my clothes. And I have made sure to wipe it off and leave the lid open so the tub can air dry

Thanks for all the great comments guys. So far this baby has powered through EVERYTHING Ive thrown at it, including a fairly bulky bedspread that I would have to constantly reshift during spin in my Kenmore, her tub never even so much as wobbled an inch, she spun smoothly...and everything seems...
