Could it be something with the dispenser drawer on the particular model only equipped for liquids? On my LG if you use powder you remove an insert from the detergent drawer meant for liquids.

90% of my tv viewing is on Youtube Premium. It's well worth the $10 or so bucks a month to never have ads. I'd ditch the cable in a heartbeat but the other half still watches regular tv.

You could try a heated mattress pad or maybe one of those Sunbeam heated throws.

I use the quick wash cycle on my LG front loader occasionally for one or two items. The base cycle is 15 minutes but you can add time and even extra rinses.

Sounds like heat rash. You were laying back on the heat pad which iirc the instrx warn you not to do. Same with an electric blanket. Heated mattress pads are a different story probably because they have less wires and don't get as hot.
