Shape wise it's an exact copy of the original. That said I expect it to operate in a similar manner.  I have not used it yet so I can't comment on that.  I looked at a number of knock-offs on AZ but KA was having a sale and I was ordering other things, so I tossed it in my basket for $29.

I like and use P+ all the time, just bought an 82 pack.  Only once have I had a suds issue. It was a small load relatively clean. Other than that one time I get perfect results.

Water lines in my area of MI are about 8' deep or more water temp is pretty consistent in the 50's.

Well as someone who owned and used a 2800 for years, yes it did work very well, and yes at EOL it left  black rubber spots on everything.
