I do a lot of canning so 2 large burners are a must. Back in the day many women canned so I guess they either bought a different stove or made do.

Every time I see a 40” in yellow, they always have 3 small burners and 1 large. I had a yellow 40” several years ago, but sold it because I knew I needed 2 large burners. I wonder if all the yellow 40s were that way.

Are the narrow shelves on the wall GE Cabinettes? If so, it seems they are missing the glass doors. It’s hard to tell by enlarging the picture. Is this owned by a forum member?
