    This is for Soberleaf!

Here's something you don't see every day. It came with the owner's manual! I think this dishwasher was really looking for a good home: MINE!

    This is for Soberleaf!

The detergent dispenser It's still there, but the bottom of the left cup is missing. So if I want to run a full cycle, I would need to add the detergent after the first rinse. Yes, it's a bit of a hassle for now. If someone knows where I can get this part, I'm all ears! Also, note some of the...

    This is for Soberleaf!

The insides I ran both racks through my current-model Whirlpool, and it did an admirable job. There were quite a few spider webs, and some grass and other stuff that accumulated over time. It's much better now.

More on the outer cabinet The casters took some effort to get rolling freely again. Some Dawn Dishwashing Liquid, WD-40, time, and effort finally paid off. And now I can roll it around the kitchen with no problem. There is a fairly big dent on the lower left back. This will eventually need...

I did some cleaning And I also got the pushbuttons to work with some WD-40, and a little exercise for the controls. They seem to be fine now.

And here's the dirt! Yes, the very meat of this post. There is quite a bit of dirt and crud inside that tub and I was wondering if the motor would even spin! Also, note the detergent dispenser in the upper left. The bottom plate on the left side is gone, and the top part has a partially broken...

Look carefully, and you'll see what I mean about the dent on the lower left of the rear cabinet. Also, all the push buttons were stuck in the down position and the labels no longer stick. NorfolkSouthern

    This is for Soberleaf!

Overall, the condition isn't too bad. There are not dents on this side, but there's a pretty good ding on the other. I'll get to that later. NorfolkSouthern

    This is for Soberleaf!

Along with the pig iron my neighbor had on the back of his truck, was THIS dishwasher along with the Zerowatt front loader from my other thread. The outer paint looks a bit weathered, and there was quite a bit of dirt that accumulated over the years. NorfolkSouthern

Can Someone From Portland Rescue This???

I think he was showing the public that the machine still works. If that's the case, then it is definitely worth getting for someone who lives in the area. NorfolkSouthern

    Magic Chef W20HN2

It could be a Norge, MattL. Check the agitator. If it has holes between the fins at the bottom, that would be a dead giveaway. Also, a Norge Magic Chef will usually have the lint filter over the agitator, similar to a GE Filter Flo. If that's the case, you may have a fairly rare machine that is...

Modern Washers for Sale in Elmont, (Long Island) NY

Thanks! After looking at the photos, I had Toggleswitch2 refer me to the seller and I got a a quick response. Like Toggleswitch2 said, the seller modified his price and I almost took it. Unfortunately, I couldn't because the distance and the shipping costs would have been prohibitive. So...

Indesit? Hotpoint? Candy? I got it, but what is it?

Yes, supremewhirlpool, the machine does reverse direction. I didn't see any capacitors hidden anyplace that I know of, and I've been through it fairly thoroughly. I'll remove the back cover again, just to be sure. I don't know much about electric motors, so whether it's an induction or not, I...

Guide to WP DD agitators and swaps?

Agitator swaps ain't too hard with these. All you do is take the cap off by fitting a screwdriver in the slot, and prying up. Then, grab your socket and ratchet out the screw. Then pull up from the bottom of the skirt. Now take the other agitator and screw that sucker in and you're go to go...

Indesit? Hotpoint? Candy? I got it, but what is it?

Thanks for clearing this up, favorit. I ran another load of whites through it, and the water got extremely hot this time! Although it did take quite a bit of time to do so. I used regular Tide, and it sudsed very little. In fact, the four rinses flushed everything out thoroughly and the machine...
