Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

I don’t think this matters. It was a problem, and the Montreal Protocol put an end to them being used by all entities. There are now better options.

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

No issues whatsoever. It’s running as designed. It simply cannot filter 100%. It only does fractional filtering. It will run a THEORETICAL full amount of the water volume at a rate of 2x a minute through the filter. But that’s not reality.

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

You’re contradicting yourself again. YOU said the thermal holds can’t be overridden. When they in fact can be via a time out. The heaters will not heat in that time frame if the fill charge is too cold. It yields depending on a hot tap fill in US households.

For anyone ELSE visiting here. This is incorrect. Sorry about the lala land impenetrable brick wall here. Food soil is not different across the ocean. You’re just experiencing American stubbornness.

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

The Poweclean is great, but it’s not the be-all end all. I am not a rinser. I will still periodically get little yibbles and little leaf, or onion specs on dishes. Because the PC still macerates everything and recirculates it. Only a fraction gets filtered. Something my past filter cup...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

What Chet is FAILING to mention, is that the Americans who have clogged, stinky filters, are neglecting their machines. Americans are maintenance-averse. Or they might indeed have insanely poor or hard water. In my experience, those with major filter issues are proponents of using the Quick...

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

But but but! All my older relatives with Powecleans STILL pre rinsed all their dishes. So. Let’s say pre rinsing uses 20 gallons of water. And a PC normal wash uses around 6.5gal. A modern dishwasher uses between 3-4 gallons a wash. (These are ballpark numbers, don’t come at me bro)...

You say that as their dishwashers have the most innovative 3rd rack in the industry, currently?

Why Has Whirlpool Never Sold a BOL Power Clean Module?

The issue is that design foisted a smaller space lower rack when the competing brands were all going to flat lower racks. Easier to load. Fit pots better. That’s when GE, the big user of power towers, made their flat design that looked like it came out of a chilly pool.

When was Whirlpool ahead of their time?

Hot take. I don’t even consider the Direct Drive “technologically advanced.” There’s nothing “advanced” about it. If anything it was cheaper for WP to make vs. the belt drive. We customers were just lucky it was also durable. The Maytag helical is I think more technically advanced, just for...

Whirlpool WTW4816FW3: Bad control board and Lowes warranty issues

IDK how Whirlpool’s value stream works, but I was at a job where we contracted with the same manufacturer in Mexico that made Electrolux’s dishwasher and oven PCBs. It sounds like Elux did main architectural design and the actual board layout and design was done at a sister branch of the...
