    New LG dishwasher.

Very nice! Kitty likes it too :-)

    The New SQ TL Washers

It's a completely different machine honestly. The Maytag, while able to be filled completely, was still an HE machine at heart. The FP is not an HE machine, it fills traditionally and has more control over options, which I liked better. The Maytag is probably a better cleaner, though it did...

    New 2018 speed queen pictures

Def kind of a retro look. I think the electronic models are ugly though...I'd pick the dials!

    The New SQ TL Washers

Yes, that's what I like about the FP is that the agitator model (at least in the US), is not an HE machine. The auto level works decent actually, though I discovered that while washing bedding it's best to select the water level manually. Best thing I like is that the water temp isn't dumbed...

    The New SQ TL Washers

Yes i did buy the FP. It's probably comparable to the SQ. Very user friendly and you are able to adjust things to your desire. I liked it for the larger capacity, and considering I just barely fit all my towels in it's 3.9 cu ft tub, I'm glad I bought it over the SQ. It's kind of like when I...

    The New SQ TL Washers

F&P TopLoader I got mine this past Saturday and I have to say it's a very good machine, aside from the fabric softener dispenser, which will dump the FS in the spray rinse, regardless if you select the FS option (which adds a deep rinse in addition to a spray rinse). That is extremely...

    More Sears/kmart closings

The stores in NH seem to be doing well, none have closed yet...well at least in the last few years. The Sears in my town, Concord, is kept up very well. It looks good and is stocked. Employees are very friendly. I get my vision care done there...best experience I've had so far. It's happening...

    The VMW mechanism...(2010+WP)

Which is weird... Because my Maytag 765, the tub moved up and down...

    2018 Whirlpool's

Yes seems as though the "Normal" cycle has been sabotaged and is the victim of energy regulations. Probably because 75% of people use Normal for everything. haha. My Maytag 765 has a new version using the larger tub as a base. It's the 865 series with an agitator, 5.2 cu ft capacity. Now on...

    Non-Stick Skillet

Poor Glenn. This turned into "What nonstick pan do you have?" Post. LOL

    Fisher & Paykel

I was looking at one of these in Lowe's the other day...it would actually work well for me since I normally run my 1985 Hobart Monterey KA with a small load every other day. Most times I use Light Wash because it has such a robust wash action, "Light" does just fine. The dish drawers would work...

    2018 Whirlpool's

WP's current line of BOL washers use the old agitator and work very similar, aside from the auto sensing (which actually uses more water than necessary). So they are still a good option. I just bought the F&P WashSmart and it is the same as it was 20 years ago, manual fill selections and...

    Non-Stick Skillet

I've not used that brand either. I had a Macy's brand nonstick set for about 6 years and it held up pretty well. Always washed in the dishwasher. Last Christmas I bought an All Clad 11" stainless nonstick french skillet and it's an awesome pan. Somehow I missed where it said not to put it in...

    The New SQ TL Washers

Well... I think its a combination of gov't mandates AND customer preference. From what I can tell WP has had the hardest time adjusting to the new mandates, considering how many variants of machines they have had in the last 3 years or so. They keep changing! GE has stayed pretty stable and I...

2018 speed queen TL washers revisited

But I guess dryer technology hasn't changed much over the years, probably why they tend to be more reliable than washers lol. My MT Bravos XL by looking at it, you would think it's a brand new design with it's slick brush aluminum panel and white LED lights. But it's core is the old tried and...

2018 speed queen TL washers revisited

SQ dryers appear to be very well built. I was impressed when I looked at them last week. But for the price I think going with a cheaper dryer, especially WP or GE, will be just as good of a choice. My Maytag dryer is awesome. It dries perfectly.

2018 speed queen TL washers revisited

Sure you bet! They seriously haven't changed much in 20 years aside from the control panel. There's a video that Leon did and his is the same as mine will be...just not the US version...but they are almost identical. I'm excited to get it. The SQ's have incredible build quality. But since I'm...

    Cold Water Wash

Yup Americans are cheap no doubt lol. But so incredibly wasteful in other ways. at 125 degrees I can use only hot water and wash my coffee pot without having to keep pulling my hand away. Before in the shower, the water was so hot, I had the lever on past warm into the cold setting...and with...

2018 speed queen TL washers revisited

I believe that's another brand...one that SQ makes for them? I've seen it on here before. I decided on the F & P WashSmart agitator machine over the SQ. After looking at them in person, the SQ was just too dang small. The FP comes with a 5 year parts/labor warranty and was $200 cheaper on top...

    Cold Water Wash

Good points John! Granted I don't think the gov't should tell us how to wash our clothes but we as Americans are very spoiled when it comes to stuff like this. If you look in Europe where they have cold water fill ONLY machines that will heat the water so you're only using hot water when...
