Need energy and water use stats for clothes washers

uhm???? "(excluding energy for heating the water or drying the clothes afterward), measured with a Kill-A-Watt meter." Is that not that going to produce a very flawed set of results where a TL using gallons of hot water heated external to the machine compared to a low water FL heating/boosting...

    Bendix 7168

Steve Yes I have the seals Austin mentions - I cant see why the one you have bought wouldnt fit as round door machines had been in production since 1982 and surely their all the same. Be worth checking against the old one to make sure its right - maybe even fit it and see how it goes so you...

    Vintage

Its definitely not the UK thats for sure. Under the sink is a bottle of either 'Dron' liquid - or 'Dreft' both european trade names for what we know as Fairy liquid here and thats a rather 90s bottle of the lemon flavoured stuff. Only way I suspect of knowing which country its taken in is to...

    My Old Washing Machine WIE107

I know I bought this style of Indesit vented dryer in 2005 around May time after I got pissed off with the weather and only having a 1000 spin Hotpoint WF000 bought a month or so before. I was ok with the 100 spin Zanussi quick n clean I had before as it spun so much better than the HPT hence...

What choice for a UK FL Purchase?

Al Without putting a hell of a lot of drivel and jargon and keeping it as simple as possible I think the only options at the moment are Beko - reliable, cheap, plenty of programmes for weekly washing in good time lengths plus 9kg capacity for the duvets...

    Dryer Fire Tonight!!!!!

Classic UK Appliances - June 2015

When purchasing a house in the UK I assume looks around just the same as Americans do and offers as much money as the purchaser deems the house to be worth. THis offer may be accepted or not and thus goes into negotiations. Kitchens and Bathrooms are usually included in the state they are in at...
