If you dump half a bottle of Clorox in using hot water. Let it agitate and then let it sit for awhile you will have a perfectly clean outer tub. Reply #24 Bob with all due respect, then how come CU since the 1940s on up until relatively recently scored top loaders as better in cleaning ? I get how thorough a front loader is, but superior ? I don't think so. I've owned both and used both and never found the front loader to be superior...

Reply #10 Thanks Justin. I actually went to the archives last night to look up the Bradford washer and saw it was indeed WCI, but this one doesn't have the indexing tub. That's quite a haul and a nice score you got there.

What was it with Kenmore and their narrow water level range with these 18 lb. JUMBO wash baskets? Whirlpool water level controls were wider on the dial with those big tubs and the "hand washables" gives you a very low level.The 74 70 series Kenmore fills quite a bit on the lo water level...

Do you have any close up pictures of the Bradford pair ? Are they Norge or WCI ? In any case nice score !
