New Fisher & Paykel Top Loaders

I think my GE portable is a Haier design. It was made in China. I do have to say it works very well and runs both arms simultaneously. The wash arms look like what Bosch used about 15 years ago.

Acquired some Kenmore 80 and 90 series machines

If you dump half a bottle of Clorox in using hot water. Let it agitate and then let it sit for awhile you will have a perfectly clean outer tub. I found a direct drive that had a nasty outer tub and a tech told me just to use a bottle of bleach dump it in and I let it sit for several hours. Then...

    Speed Queen TR washers

Reply # 39, 37 Thanks Chet. I personally don't believe that water consumption has anything to do with the danger of the planet at all. In the grand scheme of things it is extremely minut. What's happening to the earth now was foretold. Anybody who has seen my videos knows I give glory to...

    Speed Queen TR washers

I bought my first front loader back in early June of 2019 after my dad passed. Had a Whirlpool WFW6620HW and looking back I wish I would have kept that machine. For me what I liked about it was that it could wash large bulky things such as comforters. At that time I also had a Speed Queen awn...

    Speed Queen TR washers

Reply #26 Your facts aren't the same as mine. I also had a Whirlpool WFW6620HW and many different top loaders. I didn't see any appreciable difference... And that's a fact.

Reply #24 Bob with all due respect, then how come CU since the 1940s on up until relatively recently scored top loaders as better in cleaning ? I get how thorough a front loader is, but superior ? I don't think so. I've owned both and used both and never found the front loader to be superior...

    Spring 2025 Haul

Reply #10 Thanks Justin. I actually went to the archives last night to look up the Bradford washer and saw it was indeed WCI, but this one doesn't have the indexing tub. That's quite a haul and a nice score you got there.

Kenmore washer, anyone know the year?

What was it with Kenmore and their narrow water level range with these 18 lb. JUMBO wash baskets? Whirlpool water level controls were wider on the dial with those big tubs and the "hand washables" gives you a very low level. The 74 70 series Kenmore fills quite a bit on the lo water level...

    Spring 2025 Haul

Do you have any close up pictures of the Bradford pair ? Are they Norge or WCI ? In any case nice score !
