    HI Brad, There are some characteristics that are held over from the ABC. The lid, for example is from the ABC design as is the agitator and the way that the drain is offset and not under the agitator. I think it may be a bit pricey, so see what you can do. I hope you are well?

    Great thread Jim In my arsenal of cleaners would be: Bon Ami, Armstrong floor cleaner for the kitchen floor, Murphy's Oil soap for the woodwork, and there is a lot of woodwork here. Dawn, Sparkle, Bubble Bandit for the dishwasher and washing machine. Borax, Twinkle silver polish, Zest bathsoap.

    1990 GE Potscruber. Noisy but sure did clean well. The one i have now is a 2002 Whirlpool. No repairs and clean dishes, every time and quiet too. Both of these machines were recommended in consumer report.

    Air Conditioners

    We have central air, but it doesn't seem to work well upstairs. I have a unit in the tv room upstairs and it cools well. It is a Frigidaire and is 3 years old. i have it set at 71 and am very comfortable. It helps to cool the upstairs off here too.
