Australian Hoover Washer & Dryer Brochures

Philips and Hoover washers/fridges Hi guys, a little off topic so please excuse me for hijacking the thread a bit, but seeing as though Hoover designed and built the washer range for Philips, is it safe to assume that Philips designed and built the Hoover fridge/freezer range which were around...

Australian Market Hoover 455 Washer & 155 Dryer

Philips range Hi Meadowbank, I remember the Philips range they were called the "Gentle Care" range and it consisted of 3600F you mention, a twin tub and 2 top loaders. from memory the top loaders were simply a rebadged Hoover 720 and 730, the front loader was a rebadged Zodiac, (I think.) but...

    Isn't It Sad

Similar to my G.E. S.B.S. That fridge looks similar to the G.E. S.B.S I bought at one time and like the person selling this one, mine lasted 6 years as well and like his one mine was going to cost $700 odd dollars to repair. Most disappointing given that the thing cost me over $3000 Au dollars...

Tide Liquid now sold in Australian Supermarkets.

Dynamo maximum Hi Supersuds, I have tried Dynamo Maximum and found it is a good solid performer, however it sells for around $16 per bottle, so one should wait until it is on special, you can on occasion get it for half price. It is a thick liquid which needs to be used in warmer water to...

Who is Australia remembers this old detergent

This certainly brings back some memories of when I used to be young. Who remembers Punch and who remembers Gwen Plumb. Mind you I wish I could find some memories of Phase 2 Torrent detergent, but I guess that one is just going to have to be a distant memory of mine.

P&G Tide "Pods" Killing the Laundry Soap Industry?

Too expensive for me I have tried Radiant and Surf pods and found they worked ok, but not really anything exceptional, I find the drawback is that they are simply too expensive to buy frequently. The Omo pods tend to be around the $14 Aus dollar mark and sometimes you can get the Surf ones for...

Last week grocery shopping included a bottle of the new Dynamo Maximum liquid, because it was on special at Coles.
