Not that I have any faith in this "expert", but I do only use 2TBS of Persil liquid in most medium sized loads and stuff comes out clean. I have to say I use the express cycle about 75% of the time on my Duets.  But they let me add 10 minutes to the cycle so it does a  good job overall.

I make a Polish version of head cheese, kholodets. It's an aspic made with pig hocks and various vegetables. Little  bit of work so I don't make it often.

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you pressure cook with oil?  It's the steam that builds pressure, with oil you're not going to get that.

Having installed many toilets, in my experience if a leak like this happened I'd pull  the toilet and replace the wax ring then tighten it down properly.  That is another reason I prefer the newer style rings. Also a prime example of why not to caulk around the toilet.

I have not used a wax ring in decades, much better options out there now.  Most are some sort of neoprene and most are reusable - plus no wax mess to clean up.

My OXO does what the old Chemex did.  It has a shower head, wets, pauses, then continues on with 196 degree water.  Makes some of the best coffee I've had.

Sounds like a diverter issue. It's a small round button like apparatus in the spout assembly.  I'd call Delta or ho ever made it and they should make things right.
