i have a kitchen aid from 2004. Sunday when i opened the door (which usually has a very tight feel to it) there was a loud pop and the door dropped wide open. Seems like a spring or something has broken. Do you take off the inner door panel to investigate or what is the fix?

would be nice i think it would be great if someone did this. haven't they relaxed the water restrictions a bit...making it easier to get a full tub of water if you want one? i think that would be needed to make the jet action work. i have always felt the jet action motion of Frigidaire was...

Bosch vs KA I have a newer Bosch (well I've had it 15 years) and i have to say the cleaning ability is very impressive. Heavy loads all come out sparking and so hot from the final rinse you can barely touch the dishes. Very quiet too. I think this machine was made before the draconian water...
