Chris, yes I do believe that this is the same sequence as you described. It's no much difference than the Perm Press cycle on the commercial laundromat fabric matic washers of the 1970s. Lived in a dorm with laundry room in 1974 with the described washer.

Chet, thank you. Friends from church had this exact model in the 1990s. Neutral drain had already bit the dust by then. I used to drool over this washer, wishing the Lady Shredmore had initially been this exact model rather than the initial 1986 DD version.

The only top rotorack dishwashers were those branded as Kenmore and Gaffers & Sattler. I never saw a Magic Chef with a round otp rack.

I still to this day. Use hot wash, cold rents. Permanent press cycle for 100%. Wrinkle free and permanent press white dress shirts. It's why lady kenmore's had permanent press white cycle

I agree with you Sean. Give me a timer with specific cycles in the Wirlpool/Kenmore tradition of Normal, Perm Press, Knits/Gentle/Delicate, and Soak/Pre-Wash.

Personally, I don't ever want to go back to a single speed washer. Wirlpool debuted it's first 2-speed washer in 1957 I do believe. I have no appreciation for plain, bland simple appliances. Reminds me of what is put in large apartment complexes.
