Cory, I was told by someone who owned and operated a Sears Catalog Merchant store that Sears owned controlling interest in Whirlpool, and lesser amounts of several other suppliers. This was in 1976, when I worked part time for her.

New jeans I recently bought Wrangler Riggs jeans at Menards, and decided to wear them today. I like the way they fit, and they seem to be well made.

I remember seeing that orange color in an ad, along with lime green, but can't remember what they called the colors.

I think that GE/Hotpoint, Westinghouse, and Frigidaire were the only ones that manufactured their own elements. The rest were usually Chromalox or T-K.

I'm thinking the elements may have been made by Chromalox.
