Maintenance man poked his head in around 5:00 this evening to tell me that they have the right size DW and he'll be installing it in the morning. Fingers crossed it goes properly this time.

Update Apartment maintenance is here installing new dishwasher now. I hope he does it correctly, because I can just kinda tell he's flying by the seat of his pants. I'll update again once the machine is in place and I've used it a time or two.

On my TL, I just leave the lid open long enough for my last dryer load of the day to finish, that's roughly an hour. By that time the washer interior feels dry enough to close the lid, so I do. Likely you could do the same on your DD Kenmore. Ryne
