Great looking Hardwick in Crest Hill Illinois

Hmmm... I've seen the opposite opinion here.  That said, I know nothing about it other than it is great looking.

    Opinions on vintage GE ranges

kenwashesmonday - Ironic.... because I was kind of wishing it did have the sensitemp burner. Hmmmm.   I found another one that does have it, also quite close to me. The serial number is confusing me - I can't figure out when it was made. (photo 3) I do like the push buttons, and the burners...

    Opinions on vintage GE ranges

combo52, thanks - I am going to look at the white #4 tomorrow or Tuesday. I think it's nice looking and appears to be in beautiful condition. I am concerned about the front left and right rear burners - both look tipped up. When I see the range I'll take closeups of them for further advice. I...

    Opinions on vintage GE ranges

Thanks Dave - I do like the small oven. I have a Maytag Gemini in my basement and the small oven at the top is my favorite thing about it. No need to heat up the big one when you only have one or two items.   Honestly I have never used self clean on any range I've owned. I'm mainly a cooktop...

Clean Earwax Camera - WiFi & Visible Removal Spoon, USB

I use an Ototek loop - it has a "stop" so you don't get too far into the ear canal. On the thankfully rare occasions when I have bad buildup, meaning I can't hear as well, I use my gum irrigator. It attaches to my sink faucet and the pressure is easily regulated. I aim it towards the side of my...

    Opinions on vintage GE ranges

I am having some electrical work done and have the option to switch from a gas range to electric. I really like vintage GE ranges, and would go with a 40" because I like the extra "counter" space and they're just beautiful. What are the pros and cons of the styles below, or what is the "best"? ...

    1959 Toastmaster warmer for sale

Memories.... This took me right back to 1979 when I worked in a nice restaurant that had one of these. Our bread was a round sourdough loaf that the cooks would bake in the oven to get that crisp crust, then the loaves would be held in those drawers for an hour or two with no loss of quality...

    High efficiency Californiaquistan shower heads

I picked up a vintage Speakman showerhead, probably from the 50s. The first shower I took after I installed it was like the heavens opened and the universe sang! After decades of restricted flow...this thing is UNBELIEVABLE! I have zero guilt...I take short showers every other day, quit watering...

Smaller Pink GE Range (Liberator?) - $150 St. Louis MO

I think this is a 30" range. One burner not working. Same range was listed about a year ago for $350, marked down to $150 and didn't sell then. At least that's what it looks like if you look at the sellers history. In Arnold Mo which is in the St. Louis metro area...

    Electric mowers

TIP if you're buying any EGO mower/tool Only buy from authorized retailers, which pretty much limits you to Lowe's and Ace Hardware in the US. I read somewhere that if you don't use an authorized dealer for the purchase, EGO will not warranty it. I am not 100% sure if this is true but worth...

    Electric mowers

I have an EGO and love it! I got the trimmer too, so I can use its battery if the mower runs out of juice. I think wanting a 50+ minute run time is going to be an issue, so I'd research all brands to see if any last that long. Or buy two items so you have two batteries. EGO has a string trimmer...

    Chlorine Bleach

I only use it in an empty washing machine to (hopefully) sanitize it after washing dog beds and reusable dog pee pads. I pour about a cup in, fill the washer with hot water and put it on soak for awhile, then run the rest of the cycle.
